Summer Reading

Louisburg Library's Mystery Book Club will be discussing Wish You Were Here by Rita Mae Brown and Sneaky Pie Brown on Wednesday, July 12.

If you enjoy mysteries and have a cat or dog, you may enjoy Rita Mae Brown's Mrs. Murphy mystery series. Harry, the Post Mistress, lives in a small Virginia town helps the local police solve crimes with the help of her dog and cat (Mrs. Murphy).

In the first of the Mrs. Murphy series, Harry gets help from her beloved pets when they start sniffing around to make sure Harry is safe. Slowly Harry works on figuring out the murders, with some help from a friend. Between Harry and her friends working on the case and Harry's pets leading her to clues, the mystery is solved.
