What Romance are You Reading?

This is my favorite genre, romance. I specifically enjoy historical romances. What can I say, when I was younger I found all kinds of books in the high school library that were similar to Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen, and this solidified my love for romance.

I will be reading Ship of Dreams by Elaine LeClaire. This novel is a historical romance that involves pirates. It looks like it will be a fun read. I can't help but enjoy being amused by pirates and romance.

I just finished Karen L. King's "The Wedding Affair." It was a good Regency romance with murder, imposters, and long lost love.

I am looking forward to starting "Yours Until Dawn" by Teresa Medeiros. I have read several of her books and find them full of suspense.

I stayed up late last night reading "Yours Until Dawn." I am not sure what kept me reading, but something about Teresa Medeiros's novels keeps me reading.

I am now reading "After Twilight" by Amanda Ashley, Christine Feehan, and Ronda Thompson. I don't usually read vampire stories, but Christine Feehan got me stuck on her series with Carpathians (vampire like creatures). I have read almost all of the books in the series, but there was one novella that I've had a hard time getting. Now I have a chance to read it, and I couldn't wait.

Karen L. King's "A Midnight Clear" is the book I am now reading. It is the story of Roxana Winston, the oldest daughter of a noble family who is living in poverty. The only help for the family is for Roxana to get married. However, Roxana doesn't want to get married, she would rather open her own dress shop.

A family friend is having a Christmas house party, and Roxana's goal is to be compromised and get a settlement so she can open her shop. The only problem is she is attracted to the Duke, who does not fit her purposes. It is a struggle for the Duke who doesn't want to marry and Roxana to stay away from each other.

So far this book has been fun to read.
