"Sam's Letters to Jennifer" by James Patterson

Reviewed by Holly G.

This book is a heartwarming story about love, loss, and love found. Two intertwined love stories are revealed as we read Sam's letters to her granddaughter Jennifer.

Sam decided to write the letters to Jennifer, because Sam wanted to tell her story. Even though Sam and Jennifer were best friends and Jennifer thought they shared everything, there were somethings about her grandmother Jennifer did not know. The letters were a way for Sam to share a side of her she had never shared with Jennifer before.

As Jennifer reads the letters she starts to cope with the death of her husband, and she soon finds herself falling in love with the guy next door.

This book is very heartwarming and makes you think about family stories.
