The Blue Hole by Rolland Love

On Wednesday, March 14, at 5:00 pm author Rolland Love will be joining our Mystery Book Club to discuss his book The Blue Hole.

Rolland Love, a Kansas City area author, grew up in the Ozarks, where this novel is set. It is the 1950's and two brothers are going on their last camping trip before school starts. On their way to their camping site, the two boys encounter a number of bizarre characters and dangerous situations. The situation only gets more suspensful when something is discovered floating in the Blue Hole.

I'm not a fan, but there was something about this book that reminded me of Mark Twain's stories.
